Hello! I’m Ming, a pet illustrator who, just a little over a year ago, was working 60-hour weeks in a fast-paced tech startup leading the marketing team.  Let's just say that it was not my jam. I am a creative at heart but the thought of being a 'struggling' artist' led me down a safe but unfulfilling career path for so  many years. 

 

Today, I paint dogs and cats for a living (whaaattt?) and I love it. I finally made the leap, quit my job, leaned into my gift of creativity and boy, did it feel good. I went from trying to fit myself into the mold of what I always thought a ‘successful woman’ had to look like to crafting a NEW mold for myself designed around my passion and strengths. I’m a big believer of the notion that there is no such thing as wasted experience. Everything I learned in the past decade as a marketer, I took with me into my new (ad)venture.
